BEST OF RWANDA
Being a landlocked East African country, with
green mountainous landscape, Rwanda has earned its self a nickname “Land of a
Thousand Hills.” Too many small and big hills welcome you in Rwanda as you fly
in at the airport. Almost everything in Rwanda is green from forested
volcanoes, vibrant restaurants and the ever smiling Rwandese.
Rwanda has long
passed its war torn days and the government has embarked on promoting its
country as one of the safest countries to visit in Africa. Super clean,
strict laws and regulations that may end up scaring foreigners but as soon as
you decoded to visit Rwanda you will be surprised on how much there is to
adventure. Its renowned Volcanoes National Park
is home to mountain gorillas and golden monkeys. Bordering Congo and Uganda,
the park has 4,507m-tall Mt. Karisimbi and 4 other forested volcanoes, Nyungwe
forest, lake kivu and the museums’.
Rwanda has a few things to offer
though those few are the only unique features you will find in Africa.
The country is extremely small and there is one thing that everyone knows you
can do in Rwanda, gorilla trekking though getting to know the people of the
nation as they have been through very tough times and have risen above
that to create a very unique place in Africa. Moving around in the villages as
you explore Rwanda gives you much attachment to the trip other than moving
around in a car.
With a very unique city in the center
of Rwanda, Kigali is a wonderful city, great weather, people and too much
sightseeing. For all the history you need by visiting the genocide
memorials and learn about the turbulent past of the country. Almost in every
district Rwanda has got a genocide and history all the way back. Rwanda has the
best city Butare(Huye)known as the cultural hub. It has got all the ancient
history of Rwanda as it was the best and most important city before the
1960s.this history is all collected in the national museum that has all the
history you need to know about Rwanda. Nearby here there is an impressive royal
palace of Rwanda’s feudal monarchy that you can vist on your self drive in Rwanda
People say that going to Rwanda is
going to see Gorillas. But its A very unique experience when you can get
inches away from Gorillas is something that you can’t put a price on. They
are only closest animals to humans with up to98%of DNA. The largest group of
gorillas is in Uganda but you can also have a great experience in Rwanda. With a
few national parks that host a great number of animals aside from gorillas,
Rwanda has chimpanzees, birds and antelopes. These are in Nyungwe and Akagera
national parks. As part of the great lift valley Lake Kivu has the best
relaxing breeze, swimming and bird watching.
